BOYS THAT I AM INTERESTED IN RIGHT NOW…
It’s not necessarily a bad thing… if you know me at all you should also know that I am a hopeless
flirt! I get crushes soooooo easily but I would like to believe that I keep things in perspective!
If you think you are on this list you are probably right. Don’t freak out! Being on my list does not mean that I am secretly pining away for you, stalking you, fantasizing about you, or even really interested in dating you.
Being on this list just means that you have some quality that makes you shine a little brighter in my eyes than the rest of the boys. It means that there is something about you that has captured my attention for long enough to make me want to consider you a friend! It means that you exhibit qualities that interest me into wanting to learn more about who you are!
I think that the reason why I want to write this list is to sort of narrow down what I think are the important qualities that I am looking for in the next guy I choose to date. Each one of these guys is special to me in his own way. What I am looking for here are the constants! It is very strange to me that my taste is so across the board. I don’t seem to have a “type”. I can’t decide if I just don’t know what I want, want too much, or just want something…
1. The enigma. The most elusive of my crushes. Professional and adorable, poetic, smart, mysterious. The most unavailable of all my crushes yet the most desired. His simple nickname for me makes me melt every time I hear it. He appears to be both successfully and spiritual. Possibly metaphysical. He is kind and generous and has a smile that melts my soul! He seems wise beyond his years and is defiantly somebody I would trust for guidance and friendship. I want to unlock all of his secrets and share some of mine with him!
2. The friend. The guy I know will always have my back. This guy has a talent for making you feel like a princess. He hugs and flirts and when he talks to you, nothing else matters. He could make the worst day ever seem like a dream with just a hug. Knowing that he cares about me makes life just a little better! The chemistry is exciting and dangerous. It’s fun to push the limits a bit with this guy then spending the next few days cooling off! Although we want completely different things and both recognize a relationship is not in out future, knowing I can be comforted in his arms whenever I need it… the intimacy and affection and care in a simple, even platonic human touch is very reassuring.
3. The bad boy. There isn’t really too much I can say about this crush. The passion and sex appeal that this man has is intense! Dangerous! Enthralling! His sexuality is carnal! Like a moth to a flame I am drawn to him. Biting is encouraged!!!
4. The Buddy. Outgoing, friendly, talented, charming, flirty… Everything average, simple and sincere about this man is what makes him amazing. A fantastic father, hes playful, spontaneous, happy. I don’t think anything could get this man down. He brightens up a room. Almost class clown qualities, I bet he would be willing to do almost anything to embarrass himself if he knew it would make somebody smile. The confidence and love for life that flows out of this man is infectious! Life with him through thick and thin would never be boring! The though of spending a very long time with somebody like this guy is very appealing…
So I am realizing as I am writing this that what I really want in a man is all of these things put together! I am also realizing as I am writing this… the original list of 13 men is being severed drastically. Writing about all the wonderful qualities of some of these guys… actually putting the feelings into words has changed my outlook on my crushes drastically!
