I am going to start a small part time business. I have been doing henna now for about a week! what do you think? I found this design off the internet and painted it on freehand! It’s taking forever to dry though. I want to go to bed!

Your work looks quite nice, especially for a beginner, BUT I don’t think its advisable to start a business with only a week under your belt. Imagine going to a beautician with no license and a week’s training!
How ’bout your color. Are you getting at least coffee colored stains consistently? Do you have insurance? Are you sure everything in your paste mix is safe for the general public? Black Walnut powder, for example, is a common ingredient, but shouldn’t be used on the general public because it could be deadly for someone with a nut allergy.
When you get consistently dark color, have read up on all the health and safety issues, and have gotten some insurance (clowns of the US will cover henna artists pretty cheap) you’ll be ready to start working for hire. Don’t expect immediate part-time wages though, unless you can afford some serious advertising. It takes some time, years even, to build steady clientele, unless you live in a vacation area.
Good luck to you!! I’d love to see more of your work.
i think its damm good. keep it up! and what ever this bitch said above or below me is true but dont get yo hopes down…fuck it. good job. keep it up…
