and done in this case…
I was talking on the phone trying to give somebody directions to my apartment. I was standing really close to the sliding glass door. The patio light was on and I only moved away from the door far enough to slide it open. I sorta had my face pressed up against the glass because I was looking for the person walking.
I told my friend to wait and that I would step outside and see if I could see her.
It happened in a split second!
I opened the door and thought, why is it so smokey outside? I didn’t burn my dinner! Blinked a couple times to try and focus my eyes then steped full force… face plant… into the screen door!
Tee hee… maybe I should get some sleep!
